And he also held several academic positions including Clinical Associate Professor at Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine and Clinical Preceptor at Pace University.He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife Harriet Loizeaux-Dobushak children Joshua (Jena) Schwartz, Benjamin T. He was a member of the American Osteopathic Association and Pennsylvania Osteopathic Association. He held many positions over the course of his career including, Clinical Director, Medical Examiner, Chief Medical Examiner, Medical Consultant and Medical Director, all at various hospitals and facilities in New York and Pennsylvania, he was particularly proud of the position of Facility Health Service Director through the Federal Bureau of Prisons, where he presided over the care of many people. He began his private practice in 1977 and continued his career in medicine. in Biology from Franklin and Marshall College and then went on to study Osteopathic medicine at Philadelphia College and completed his post graduate training at Memorial General Hospital, American Osteopathic Association and American Academy of Forensic Sciences and finally earning his board certification from both the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians in 1977 and American Academy of Forensic Sciences in 1986. He was 73.He was the son of the late Walter Dobushak and Katherine (Kade) Dobushak, born on Novemin Irvington, NJ.Dr. Walter Dobushak, of Liberty, NY, passed away on Tuesday, Februat Delaware Valley Skilled Nursing Home.
